Let’s focus on unity, first with
God. Unity can be difficult; it takes some courage to listen and understand the
heart and will of people you’re in a relationship with. It can be the same with
God. It’s amazing to think that God chooses to act through his people. Remember
what’s bound on earth is bound in heaven, and what’s loosed on earth is loosed
in heaven (Matthew 6:19). God has chosen to act through His
people. I think that means we have a responsibility to take the time to
understand that amazing part of our relationship. I encourage you during
this coming week, to hush, pause… and listen.
After all prayer is at its core communication, a conversation if you will.
Too often we pray, give our list of needs, and then hang up. Please make
time to hush, pause… during your prayer time, seeking God’s heart and will. How
does he want to work through us? How do we know the heart of someone unless we
listen. I encourage you all during this week, to provide God space during
your quiet times in prayer with Him, to speak into you. His word promises us
that is His desire.
2 Chronicles 7:15 Now my eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayers made in this place.
