It’s been a minute since I shared on this blog. Life, what can I say.

Anyways, I’ve been thinking a lot about a recent experience and how we think we have God figured out, how He’s going to do things in our life.

Story time

For a while I’ve been wearing shirts that say things along the line of “How Can I pray for you today? in huge letters. I get different reactions, side eye, wide eye, once in a while someone says “cool shirt” I always say “It’s not just a cool shirt, how can I pray for you?” I’ve had some great conversations, and awesome times of prayer, right in the middle of the grocery aisle.

So I figured this is how it is. BUT a couple weeks ago, someone saw the shirt, and his response was “So, How can I pray for you today?” I was surprised and a bit put on the spot, but leaned in, we shared and prayed for each other. No descending light, no songs of the heavenly host. It was a simple time of 2 men making time in our busyness to hush, pause, and lift each other.

It was revelation to me, God doesn’t want me to just be doing, He wanted me blessed that day. Since then I try and make time to see the Hand of God glorifying His Love, His Will, His Desire. It’s there… we just need to be willing to look for it.
