So it’s been a minute, my apologies. I’ve been recently looking at how I relate to God. Specifically his Trinity nature. I ran across this a while ago, and it’s been very helpful so I thought I’d share.

As I start my prayer, I recognize the following

God the Father – The God who who created me. I recognize with this, that I am made by God for His purpose in my life.

God the Son – The God that saved me. I am thankful that Jesus entered reality, becoming fully man and fully God, to take on the punishment for my sin. Since God being all holy, can not allow anything sinful into His presence. Jesus saved me from Gods Judgement and welcomes me into relationship.

God the Holy Spirit – Is God within me. Knowing that I have access to all of Gods love, direction, and correction through the beauty of Him placing His spirit within me.

I’m still working out how to apply this throughout my days, but it’s been something that makes relating to God, in his triune nature, easier for me to grasp.
